I am 58, male, mechanic 22 yrs on concrete floor, slightly overweight, but not grossly so. From what I've seen on this site, no doubt I have PF. Sharp pain center of heel. Very sharp upon getting up, but tolerable after a few minutes. Bad on some days, better on others QUESTIONS: 1.Often, while sitting an excruciating pain shoots thru ankle where it pivots, and at times feels like ankle is being "wrapped" tightly on both sides and under heel, anybody had this? 2. I had colon cancer 3 yrs. ago and spent 6 mos. on chemo. Chemo patients experience numbness in fingers and toes during treatment and can last months after treatment stops. Are people who have had chemo more prone to PF than others. 3. Is circulation to the lower extremities and PF related? Some days my ankles are swollen at end of day and sometimes not. 4. Are there any vitamins or mineral supplements that seem to help PF?
