I have suffer with this condition for about 4 years, The fist cortisone shot helped but the following 3 did not, the foot doctor can do nothing for me. He did recommended physical therapy. But it is very expensive and my insurance will not cover it. I come home after work almost in tears from the pain. Feels as if someone has beat on my feet all day. Especially that sore heel spot. I put a cold pack on my feet almost immediately, it gives a small amount of relief. And I stretch and stretch. I have started putting the night splints on before bed as they are so uncomfortable to sleep in. That seems to help a small amount. I am discouraged about this condition as it has changed my active life into almost doing nothing that involves standing, walking. So it is hard. The Good Feet sales lady did sound as if she did know what she was talking about but I do not want to spend that kind of money and in a month or so have them not work. Thank all of you who share comments. It helps knowing others out there have this too.
