Did you have endoscopic or full release??? I had endoscopic surgery in Feb. in my left foot. I tried just about every thing with surgery the last resort. I have to say I am glad I did!! I still have an ache in my heal quite a bit, but I am now so much better! I had to totally give up my walking program before surgery, and even any walking was very painful. Now I am back to walking with no problem. After all day on my foot, it does feel achey and tired, but nothing like before surgery. I do wear tennis shoes most of the time. I did find a great sandal for summer though, it is called Chaco. It was $80. but so worth it!! I got it at a running shoe store, I am going to look on line for more of them. So many posts that I read are just putting up with this awful, painful, thing, I don't understand why more people do not opt for surgery. My surgery was not painful and I was back to work in two days. If I had to, I would have it again.
