Hi,
I was diagnosed with heel spurs (PF) last August. After 8 months the pain had subsided enough to start exercising again. I started back running 5 weeks ago. I joined a beginner running group where we start walking for 4 min run 1 min. (each week increasing in running). My doctor had told me as long as I stretch before, during and really stretch my calf muscles after I shouldn't have any problems. Well this weekend the pain is back in full force after a 40 min walk/run workout.
My question is how do I get back to running ? I have to exercise (have asthma) and I love running (hate swimming). Has anyone overcome this and was able to get back to running without pain?
