Hi everyone! I have been suffering from PF for over 3 years. I developed it in the Army. I was a long distance runner before that with NO history of feet or ankle issues. My condition became severe since I did not seek treatment for 2 months. I even fractured the heel in that time. I was 25 when I developed it and am now 28. The doctors tried EVERYTHING. I can not tell you how much $$$ I spent on things not covered by insurance. Orthodics, splints, cortisone shots (AWFUL!), pills, shoes, and even surgery. NOTHING worked. In fact, the surgery made my pain WORSE. This experience has been the worst of my life. I have gained a lot of weight from being unable to be very active. I ride a bike, but suffer for a day or two after each ride. I recently heard about K Laser treatments and tried them. After only 2 treatments I have noticed less pain, my feet recover faster, and less stiffness! What a change!!! Please please if you are suffering from this life altering, crippling, debilitating condition TRY THIS! I wish someone had told me sooner. I now have high hopes that I will be able to walk, hike, and maybe even run again!!!
The best part is the laser treatments are PAIN FREE!!!! There's no cutting or needles. The doctor just moves a light beam over your foot for a few minutes and you're done. I live in the Bay Area and it costs me $75 a visit. The good news is that once it's gone it's gone! Unless you re-injure your feet the pain won't come back!!!! I can not speak highly enough of this treatment. Do whatever you have to to try it. My chiropractor does it so I think you have to go to one of them for this.
My life was turned upside down because of PF. I have definitely had some very low points and have been told to just accept what has happened to me. The worst part is that as painful as this condition is no one really knows about it. You hear about things like carpool tunnel or torn ligaments everyday. There is not enough out there about this condition. I would never wish what I have suffered for the last 3 yrs on my worst enemy. If this posting helps even one person than I have done what I hoped to do. I sincerely hope my advice helps someone
